ARGUMENTS	COUNTER ARGUMENTS
·     Societies which have higher crime rates use it to reduce crime rates. ·         Societies which can’t afford good legal counsel those without a voice in society use it .	·        It’s not a deterrent against the crimes that it punishes. ·   A country that abolish the death penalty is not plunged into criminal chaos. ·         The death penalty is irreversible and results in the death of innocence. ·      It is never acceptable. It abuses two of our most basic human rights: The right to live and no one shall be subject to torture. ·         It kills people but it also tortures physically and psychologically.
